This is the latest beta release and is actually an old program that was made by GIANT Company Software Inc. but microsoft has bought them out. and it has developed the software some more and here it is.

Avast antivirus

Originally made by the chekoslovakian government, this is very powerfull and will detect trojans and other lesser known viruses. I have seen it find viruses norton has missed, good but make sure your pc isnt too slow.

Kerio Firewall

A highly recomended firewall, but like all good firewalls it requires some knowledge to be able to get it running at its best. Pick the advanced installation to have the best protection.
